Understanding the Legal Insights of GPS Air Technology

GPS Air recognizes the importance of transparency regarding the legal aspects of its pioneering ionization technology, particularly during a period marked by the COVID-19 pandemic. Historical accounts dating back to this challenging time may reference legal disputes, which are now addressed with clarity and factual grounding.

During an era when misinformation was rampant, GPS Air steadfastly defended its proprietary needlepoint bipolar ionization (NPBI) technology against unfounded claims. However, it is important to note that these outdated reports and stories do not reflect current knowledge or scientific opinion of GPS Air technology. GPS Air was the first to demonstrate the efficacy of its products against SARS-CoV-2, as well as adhering to safety standards like UL 2998, certifying its technology as ozone-free and safe.

Competitor misinformation campaigns resulted in GPS Air becoming the target of frivolous lawsuits filed by professional plaintiffs seeking to capitalize on the confusion. Nonetheless, GPS Air addressed the misinformation head-on through legal action, notably resolving a lawsuit that cleared misconceptions of the company's technology. 

The main defendant clarified in a public statement that her prior statements were NOT applicable to GPS Air products as our NPBI technology utilizes soft ionization, which sets it apart from other ionization technologies which may produce harmful byproducts. GPS Air technology is also certified ozone free under UL2998, unlike other technologies. The negative statements posted by the defendants, including the open letter, have been removed from the public domain. In addition, several media outlets retracted or refused to air further false stories following revelations in the lawsuit.
